アンコール・大回りコース　Angkor Grand Circuit

フランスが整備した観光コースで、プレア・カン、ニャック・ポアン、タ・ソム、東メボン、プレ・ループ等を含む遺跡群。それぞれユニークで、面白いが、プリア・カンがその規模からもその構造からも最も興味深い。建造された時期は、10世紀から12世紀。

Franch Team made this sightseeing course "Grand Circuit" and enabled us to see great ruins such as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Preah Rup and so on. Preah Khan may be the most interest ruin, because of its size and structure. These temples were built between the 10th to 12th century.

	プリア・カン。大回りコースのハイライトになる大寺院。12世紀後半に造られた。 Preah Khan may be the highlight of Angkor Grand Circuit and a very big temple. It was built in the late 12th century.
	プリア・カンには、なぜかギリシャ建築のような２階建ての建造物がある。 Preah Khan has strange 2 stories building. It looks like a Greek building.
	プリア・カンの入り口には、朽ち果てた神の石像がある。その下には、蓮が咲き乱れる。 At the entrance of Preh Kahn, we can see the statue of god which is almost fallen. Under the causeway there are so meny lotus flowers.
	ニャック・ポアンも12世紀後半に立てられたユニークな寺院。病を治すための寺院だったらしい。 Neak Pean is also unique temple which was built in the late 12th century. It is said that this temple was for curing people of disease.
	ニャック・ポアンの四方には、祠があり、さらに４つの池に通じている。祠内部の水の出口は、人（左）、象、牛、獅子の形になっている。 Neak Pean has 4 small chambers and each chambers open to small 4 ponds. In the chambers there waterspouts and their shapes are man ( picture ), elephant, cow and lion.
	観音菩薩の化身のヴァラーハがシンハラを助けようとしている。 In the central pond, there is a Balaha ( horse ) . Balaha is a manifestation of the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara who tries to rescue Simhara, a marchant.
	タ・ソム。12世紀後半建造。四面仏の塔門。 Ta Som. It was built late 12th century. This is entry tower which has 4 faces.
	タ・ソムもジャングルの脅威が忍び寄る。 Ta Som is also being cruhsed by jungle.
	プレ・ループ。10世紀建造。死者を荼毘に付したといわれている。寺院からの眺めはすばらしく、アンコール・ワットも遠くに見える。 Preah Rup. It was built in the 10th century. It is said that in this temple funerary association was held. The view from the temple is beautiful and we even can see Angkor Wat
	東メボン。やはり10世紀建造。かつての貯水池の中央に位置していた。これは、偽窓。 East Mebon. It was also built in the 10th century. East Mebon once stood on the center island of East Baray which was a large body of water. This is a fake window.
