アンコール・その他　Angkor Others

アンコールには、その他に様々な遺跡がある。あるものはほとんど崩壊し、あるものは、引き続き信仰の対象になっている。アンコールは、15世紀にアユタヤに攻略され放棄されたが、生活の場としては、生き続けていたことがわかる。

There are many ruins in Angkor other than introduced ones. Some of them are callapsed and some of them are still places of worship. Angkor was abandoned because Ayutthaya became a great threat to Angkor in the 15th century. However some of Khmer people continue to live in Angkor until it was rediscovered by European in the 19th century.

	バンテアイ・サムレ。やや郊外にあり、訪れる人も少ない。12世紀初頭にアンコールワットと同じスルヤバルマン２世によって建設された。 Banteay Samre. Because this temple is in the suburb, there are not so many visitors. It was built by Suryavarman 2 ( who built Angkor Wat ) in the early 12th century.
	バンテアイ・サムレの門には美しい破風が残っており、その浮き彫りのデザインもユニークである。 We can see the unique and beautiful decoration at the gates of Banteay Samre.
	バンテアイ・サムレの中央塔は、アンコールワットのデザインと似ている。 The central tower of Bantay Samre looks like the one of Angkor Wat.
	この連子状窓のデザインもアンコールワットのものと似ている。 This unique style window is also similar to the Angkor Wat's style.
	鳥（白鳥？ガチョウ？）の上に乗った神様。下にも神様が並ぶ。 God on a bird ( swan or goose ). Many small gods are under them.
	アーナンタという大蛇の上に横たわるヴィシュヌ神。 Vishnu on a big snake which is called as Ananta.
	プラサット・クラヴァン。921年に建造されたとされる。塔は、中央塔を除き崩れているが、中の浮き彫りは、ダイナミックですばらしい。 Prasat Kravan. It was built in 921. Towers have been collapsed except the central tower, however the relief inside the towers are dynamic and impressive.
	プラサット・クラヴァン内のラクシュミー（ヴィシュヌ神の妻）の浮き彫り。レンガの上に彫られている。 Relief of Laksmi ( wife of Vishnu) in Prasat Kravan. Reliefs are carved on the bricks.
	ワット・アスヴィア。アンコール・ワットとほぼ同時期に作られたとされ、現在も仏教寺院として、現役。 Wat Athvea. It was built almost at the same time of Angkor Wat. This temple is still active as a Buddhism temple.
	ワット・プレア・エインコセイ。町の中心近くにある比較的古い寺院。近くに、小学校がある。 Wat Preah Einkosei. This temple is relatively old and exists near the center of the town. Near this temple, there is a elementary school.
